Our team of Educators are constantly talking about how much they love their work, the difference they make to children, and how valued they feel as a member of the Leor team. Not only are they making a positive difference to children’s lives everyday, but they also get to tailor programs to the needs of each child.
We invite you to use the knowledge and expertise you have gained during your studies to deliver high quality education and care to children in small group environments within their own home. Not only do children feel more comfortable, they are more engaged and interested in learning, and your day is less stressful when only caring for a small number of children.
Choose your hours
You can tell us when you want to work, how many hours, and how often. We will then match you with a family that meets your needs, so you can achieve your dreams, continue studying, or spend more time with your family.
Whether you want to work full time during University or College holidays, or part time during school holidays, we will try to find a family that fits in with your choices.
We offer full time and part time roles on both permanent and contract terms.
Paid Parental Leave
We value your family, because we know that your family comes first. That’s why we offer our permanent staff up to 12 weeks’ paid parental leave as a permanent staff member (pro rata for part time staff).
We want you to enjoy the time with your newest family member and come back to work refreshed, knowing that you are a valued member of the Leor team.
Travel with Leor
From Katherine to Melbourne, from Queanbeyan to Perth. Leor operates across Australia in regional, remote and metro areas. So if you feel like a sea change, you don’t have to leave, we will try and find you work wherever you go.
Once you become a valued member of the Leor team, we will try to support you wherever you go.
Mentoring & Professional Development
Be part of a team of Educators who are mentored and supported by experienced Directors, ECTs and other professionals who can
help you achieve your dreams as an Early Childhood Educator. All staff are invited to participate in our annual Career Growth Program, that allows you to be trained by experienced professionals, so you can continue to grow and acquire new skills.
In your day to day work, you will gain access to learning programs, peer support, guidance from your Lead Educator, and other Educators who are working with other families.
